Hebrew alphabet is more ambiguous than modern alphabets. In Hebrew all the letters have their “personal” names, pronouncing rules and even numerical values. Hebrew letters are also linked to the certain Astrology signs and symbolic meanings. Please notice also this funny detail: word "alphabet" actually forms of the first two Hebrew letters "aleph" and "bet". As together, they form Hebrew word "AB", which is pronounced "av" and it means "Father".
